A woman looks pensive and concerned about her relationship

Creating a healthy, fulfilling relationship takes skills many of us were never taught.

Did you know only 31% of couples seek or sign up for premarital relationship education?

Or that a mere 19% of couples actually engage in professional counseling during their relationship?

Or that only 37% of divorced couples choose to work with a marriage therapist before signing the papers?

And my question is — if couples therapy has a 70% success rate, isn't it worth exploring?

I know you may feel alone—like nobody could possibly understand. Rest assured, many couples have gone through similar situations to a successful recovery.

You might be going through the worst thing you and your partner have ever had to navigate, but there's hope. Truly. There's hope.

Hiring a couples therapist can give you the confidence and skills to succeed in long-term love, whether with your current partner or your next one.

A man looks tired and worn out with relationship worries

Toxic myths about relationship problems:

  • You're weak if you seek help.

  • Keep it to yourself.

  • Your partner is the problem.

  • If love takes work, it's not meant to be.

The truth about relationship problems:

  • Couples can become stronger and happier as a result of healthier communication and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Avoiding your problems doesn't work. Working with a therapist can streamline your path to healing.

  • Every relationship requires participants — you're both involved in the breakdown and the healing.

  • Relationships are under constant tension—between forces that hold us together and those that tear us apart.

I won't sugarcoat it—bringing up difficult issues in couples therapy is vulnerable, messy, and challenging. But I will help you. If you're committed to taking the steps and doing the work, I'll help you end this painful chapter of your relationship and give you the tools and support to write a new beginning for your relationship.

Getting started is easy...

Schedule a quick 20-minute consultation.

I’ll learn a little about you and answer your questions so we can see if I’m the right counselor for you.

Couples Counseling begins with a comprehensive assessment. This will be the first four sessions.

The first session will be an assessment of the couple and will last 90 minutes. The second and third sessions will be individual sessions with each partner. These sessions will be 55 minutes each. The fourth session will be with both partners and will last 90 minutes. During the fourth session, I will share the results of the assessment, and we will collaborate on goals which will outline the remainder of our journey together.

You‘ll look forward to your weekly sessions.

Every time we meet you‘ll learn new coping skills that help life feel less heavy and hard. What‘s more? I’ll be a support system between sessions via text support.
